the Best Kept Secret in Southern California – Downtown Upland Antique District in the Inland Empire

The City of Upland is known as a beautiful, leisurely place to shop in antique/vintage stores, specialty shops, and boasts a number of fine restaurants as well as sports bars. What many Vintage / Antique buyers & collectors do not realize is there is a hidden gem in the Inland Empire! The downtown Upland area, just north of the 10 Fwy (San Bernardino Fwy) is host to over 10 Antique / Vintage / Collectible shops. Most of the stores are within a 2 block radius of each other. There is also plenty of free parking! This makes the City of Upland’s downtown area the destination of choice for finding unique or rare Antique / Vintage/Retro items.  Downtown Upland is freeway close & easy to find (just 5 blocks north of the 10 fwy off Euclid Ave.)  and the shops are easy to stroll, beautiful, tree lined just north of the San Bernardino Metrolink line, which extends from San Bernardino to Los Angeles (Central Station).

Most of our antique/vintage shops are located on North 2nd Avenue and 9th Street. In addition to an amazing collection of small business stores, we also have a wide variety of eating establishments from sandwiches, ice cream, burgers & beer to fine cuisine, so there is something here for everybody!

If you bring your husbands/significant others along (and they are not into “antiquing”…), there is something for them, too. Downtown Upland’s 2nd avenue has a great Sports Bar, with all the College and NFL games on the weekend (and other sports in season) plus a fantastic old fashion Barber Shop!
